We're not all lawyers, but we work together to support the legal profession and ensure a just society for all.We are currently looking for a full time permanent Projects and Programs Coordinator to join our Member Insights and Engagement team.About the teamThe Member Insights and Engagement team sits within the Membership & Engagement department and develops and implements the Law Society’s strategies to support solicitors in their practices and personal lives and drive membership acquisition and retention. It contributes to the marketing and communication spectrum, develops a compelling and profitable Continuing Professional Development program for solicitors, and coordinates related membership programs.About the roleThe Projects and Programs Coordinator supports the Engagement Manager with the continuous improvement, development, and delivery of a number of development and engagement programs. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of excellence in relation to a range of member programs whilst meeting operational goals and objectives, and keeping the organisation informed of current research and information relevant to the programs. You will also be responsible for coordination and administrative support of various projects that the Insights & Engagement team are responsible and accountable for throughout the year. These projects include member awards, annual conference and development of strategic works.What you'll be doingAssist with all administrative aspects for Member programs, including: Mock Trial, Mock Mediation, Young Justice, Future Young Lawyers, Mentoring, Student Mentoring, Member Awards, Annual Conference, Graduate Induction, Ready for Practice.Coordinate all program processes, including logistical arrangements, with stakeholders as required for each program.Oversee applications and registrations for each program and facilitate the relevant allocations and pairings as required.Promote and market the programs as required to relevant audiences and ensure commitment by liaison with all stakeholders throughout the year.Facilitate the smooth running of the programs by effective communications throughout with internal and external stakeholders and actively pursue new potential stakeholder relationships.Work with relevant teams to develop marketing materials and oversee the effective marketing for each program.Coordinate relevant online and digital marketing and resources relating to the programs and projects including updates to relevant web pages and social media.Identify, evaluate and develop strategies based on thorough evaluation, feedback and data to improve the programs each year.Identify, evaluate and propose solutions to program areas that need special attention.Work with other stakeholders and consultants to develop and implement ongoing improvements and evaluation procedures.Compile quarterly summaries for each program.Identify and develop complimentary services, resources and sessions that further the reach and understanding of, and support users of the programs.Keep all data records and contact information relevant and updated throughout the year.Assist with the coordination and execution of the Member Awards Program in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders as required.In collaboration with the Wellbeing Manager, assist with the coordination and execution of the various Wellbeing programs in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders as required.Review and identify opportunities for improvement to and expansion of current programs.Maintain strong external stakeholder relationships with contacts across NSW law firms, universities, high schools, volunteers, and other relevant bodies.Overall assistance and coordination of project timelines, event teamwork flows and meeting deadlines to ensure all programs and projects are delivered successfully. About youPreferably experience in managing mentoring or other member-based programs.Demonstrated experience in organising various types of events or development programs.Previous experience in working in development departments or mentoring areas.Self-motivated and able to manage time and conflicting priorities and deadlines.Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to positively and effectively manage and support stakeholder relationships at all levels both within and outside of the organisation.Experience in managing customer related experiences and feedback.Good listening skills and willingness to help both mentors, mentees, and all related stakeholders.Adaptability and ability to learn new skills.Ability to use information, knowledge, and experience to analyse and form judgements.Strong administration skills with high level experience in Microsoft Office and OutlookConfident and professional.Motivated and enthusiastic.Flexible and able to work outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.Behaves in an honest and trustworthy manner, treats others fairly and is open about one’s own misjudgements and any conflicts of interest which may be present.Displays a commitment to quality client service, values the supplying of accurate and timely information and relates to people from diverse backgrounds both appropriately and effectively. To ApplyThe Law Society of New South Wales is committed to building and maintaining a respectful and inclusive workplace, appointing the best person for the role and supporting diversity. Applications should contain a CV and cover letter that outlines your key experience and motivations for this role.
