We're not all lawyers, but we work together to support the legal profession and ensure a just society for all.The Senior Member Engagement Coordinator is an important member of the Insights & Engagement Team (Team), the intelligence arm of the Membership and Engagement Department. The Team uses intelligence, data, insights and liaison groups to develop a clear and comprehensive understanding of the needs of the profession, with a focus on membership acquisition and retention and works with the other teams across the Law Society to meet those needs via strategic engagement.AccountabilitiesProvide an efficient and responsive administrative, organisational, and logistical service to the MIE team and members of the Law Society.Act as a key liaison for the services and initiatives of the MIE team including mentoring, NSW Young Lawyers, Law Society community programs including Mock Law and Regional Law Societies.Provide administrative and logistical support to the MIE team including:Email & inbox management of team and program inboxes - this includes but is not limited to filtering and maintaining emails, managing/prioritisation of urgent correspondence and drafting responses.Assisting with coordination of the quarterly Regional Presidents’ meetings including travel arrangements.Room bookings for team including catering arrangementsLiaising with external stakeholders of all levels of seniority, from students through to Regional Presidents and other senior members of the profession.Coordinating communications being sent to the profession and members.Assist with event planning when required, including speaker managementTake responsibility for the Team’s expenses and reporting including preparing invoices for approval; expenses and reimbursements.Assisting with the drafting of meeting agendas, minutes, invites and various correspondence for approval.Management of our key contact and distribution lists.Digital records management and maintenanceMonitoring and facilitating website currency and updates in liaison with marketingAny other tasks which may arise from time to timeRequirementsPrevious personal/team or executive support experience, preferably gained in a legal environment.Effective relationship management skills, fostering effective working relationships between teams across multiple levels within the Law Society.
